Karen has been a staff member for the past 16 years, the last 9 as manager.
She and her partner are family orientated and they enjoy weekend's away in their
caravan with their grandchildren.

Melodie Prescott
Melodie joined the team at Stoke Seniors nearly 10 years ago, she has travelled widely with her husband Alan and has more planned. Originally from the UK, she loves living in Nelson. She has two adult daughter's. Gemma, the eldest, is a nurse in Wellington and she is known to our members as she has helped out here. Heather works as a bar manager at Speight's Ale House.
Entertainment Organiser/Monday Trip Organiser
Michelle Stevenson
Michelle started at Stoke Seniors in April 2026. She does the Monday trips out and organizes the entertainment for us.
Mother of 5 and grandmother of 4, all living in Nelson.
Michelle is a Qualified Diversional and Recreational Therapist, and has also coached for NZRDA.

Sharon Kenning
Sharon started late April 2021 . She is a mother of 5 girls. Sharon works 12 hours a week greeting and making people feel comfortable and relaxed. Her position is to assist our managers

Michelle started with us at the start of 2021. Michelle is chef and cooks amazing meals for us. She has 3 children a daughter and twin boys. she enjoys going camping with her children.

VYONNA RICKERBY
Vyonna Started st Stoke Seniors at the end of 2022. Vyonna has 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. on her days off she enjoys a nice walk, relaxing or watching a good movie. Vyonna also runs the Girls own trips once a month on a Friday
Briar Robertson
Briar Started Stoke Seniors in 2021. Briar is Michelle’s sister. When shes not working she enjoys swimming and going to the gym.
